What is AoEM Historian?

AoEM Historian is a Discord bot that brings structure and fairness to empire management in Age of Empires Mobile. It solves a common problem: how do you fairly decide who gets the limited slots in competitive hero events?

The Problem​

In Age of Empires Mobile, empires (guilds/clans) participate in special "unique hero" events where only a limited number of players (typically 10) can participate. With potentially dozens of active players, leaders face difficult decisions:

  • Who deserves a slot?
  • How do you reward consistent participation?
  • How do you handle disputes fairly?
  • How do you track who has contributed what?

The Solution​

AoEM Historian introduces a credit-based system:

  1. Activities - Empire events and activities (rallies, donations, etc.) are tracked in the system
  2. Credits - Players earn credits by participating in activities and claiming their participation
  3. Applications - When hero events open, players spend credits to apply for slots
  4. Fair Distribution - Slots are allocated based on credit investment and tier preferences

This creates a transparent, merit-based system where:

  • Active players earn more opportunities
  • The process is visible and verifiable
  • Leaders have tools to handle edge cases
  • Everyone understands the rules
