Registering Your Account

Before you can earn credits and participate in the MGE system, you need to register your account.

The Register Command​

/register

This opens a modal where you enter your player name.

Then enter your name (e.g., "DragonSlayer99") in the modal that appears.

What Happens When You Register​

  1. Your Discord account is linked to the player name you provide
  2. An account is created for you in your empire's system
  3. You start with 0 credits
  4. You can now claim activities and participate in MGE events

Choosing Your Player Name​

Use Your Exact In-Game Name

Enter your name exactly as it appears in Age of Empires Mobile. This helps leaders verify your identity and activity participation.

Your player name should be:

  • Recognizable - Leaders need to identify you in-game
  • Accurate - Match your actual in-game name
  • Current - If you've changed your in-game name, update your registration too

Changing Your Name​

If you need to update your registered name (for example, if you changed it in-game), use:

/rename

This opens a modal pre-filled with your current name. Edit it and submit to change your name.

This updates your registered name while keeping your credit balance and history intact.

Common Issues​

"You are already registered"​

You can only register once per Discord account per empire. If you see this message, you're already set up! Use /credits to check your account.

If you need to change your name, use /rename instead.

"No empire found"​

This means the bot hasn't been set up for your Discord server yet. Ask a server administrator to run /empire config first.

Wrong Name Registered​

If you registered with the wrong name:

  1. Use /rename to fix it (your current name will be pre-filled in the modal)
  2. Or ask a leader for help if you have issues

After Registering​

Once registered, you can:

  1. Check your balance - /credits
  2. Watch for activities - Leaders post in the #activities channel
  3. Claim activity credits - Click the Claim button on activity posts
  4. Apply for MGE slots - /apply <tier>
