Admin Commands

These commands are available only to Discord server administrators (users with the "Administrator" permission).

/era config​

Configure your era's basic information.

Syntax​

/era config

Usage​

Opens a modal with fields:

  • Era Number - Your era's number in Age of Eras Mobile
  • Era Name - A display name for your era
  • Starting Credits - How many credits new players receive

Examples​

Running the command opens a form:

Notes​

  • Must be run before other commands work
  • Can be run again to update era information

Permission Requirements​

These commands require the Discord "Administrator" permission, which is typically granted to:

  • Server owner
  • Roles with Administrator permission enabled

To check if you have Administrator permission:

  1. Go to Server Settings → Roles
  2. Find your highest role
  3. Check if "Administrator" is enabled

First-Time Setup Checklist​

When setting up a new era:

  1. Add the bot to your server (see Adding the Bot)

  2. Run /era config to configure your era

  3. Set the player role with /era role @Role

  4. Set the activity channel with /era activity-channel-set #channel

  5. Add leaders with /leader add @User

  6. Configure activities with /activity config (optional)

  7. Announce to members and have them register with /register
